This year, the news of the HIM break-up was certainly the worst news ever we could possibly hear from the band.
But during these years we experienced many other bad news (among the long moments of silence from the band, broken promises form the man itself for a new album and so on) that probably led to the final goodbye from our love metallers. We'll let's take a journey in this gloomy (and doomy) sea of emptiness.
Ville and Jonna Nygren Break-Up 2006

Ville Valo Rehab 2007

Yoshiaki "Aki" Takayama Death 2010
Ville has always been an huge fan and friend of the Yoshiaki "Aki" Takayama restaurant Kabuki in Helsinki. They even played a private gig back in the day. When Aki disappeared, it was certainly a tragic moment for the band. HIM Part Ways with Sire Records 2011

Heartagram.com shuts down 2012

US Tour 2013 Canceled

Gas left the band 2014
Gas leaving the band has probably been one of the worst news for every HIM fan. After a wrist injury the band decided to wait for his convalescence. Ville sold his tower 2015
